Also, Historic Smithfield Plantation will celebrate heirloom apples and dedicate its new historical orchard at a festival today from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The museum and grounds are located at 1000 Smithfield Plantation Road in Blacksburg, near the Virginia Tech campus.
